Welcome to ForeGolf!

ForeGolf is a golf application developed by Skillset Studios, MB (“Service Provider,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

Our goal is to create a positive, respectful, and enjoyable experience for golfers of all skill levels.

These Community Guidelines (“Guidelines”) establish the standards for content and interactions within ForeGolf, including golf scorecards, shared rounds, photographs, and other user-generated content.

By using ForeGolf’s sharing and community features, you agree to follow these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, and our Privacy Policy.

1. Respect Others

ForeGolf welcomes golfers of all backgrounds and skill levels.

We encourage friendly competition, sportsmanship, and respectful interactions.

The following behavior is not permitted:

  • Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or threats.

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on personal characteristics.

  • Abusive, insulting, or deliberately degrading content.

  • Encouraging violence or harm toward others.

  • Targeted harassment of other users.

Disagreements and friendly competition are welcome, but personal attacks and abusive behavior are not.

2. Appropriate Content

Users may create and share golf-related content, including scorecards, round summaries, photographs, and other materials supported by the Application.

Content must comply with applicable laws and these Guidelines.

The following content is prohibited:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit material.

  • Graphic violence or disturbing imagery.

  • Content promoting illegal activities.

  • Content encouraging self-harm or dangerous behavior.

  • Content involving the exploitation or abuse of minors.

  • Content promoting terrorism, violent extremism, or hate organizations.

  • Malicious links, viruses, or harmful software.

We reserve the right to restrict or remove prohibited content in accordance with applicable law.

3. Authenticity and Fair Play

Golf is built on honesty, integrity, and sportsmanship.

We encourage users to record and share accurate golf scores and round information.

Users should not:

  • Impersonate other individuals or organizations.

  • Create accounts for fraudulent or deceptive purposes.

  • Manipulate community features to mislead other users.

  • Deliberately misrepresent another person’s identity or achievements.

  • Use automated tools to generate spam or fraudulent interactions.

While ForeGolf encourages accurate scorekeeping, users remain responsible for the information they record and share.

ForeGolf does not independently verify every scorecard or golf result.

4. Privacy and Personal Information

Respect the privacy of other users.

You must not share another person’s private information without appropriate authorization.

This includes:

  • Private phone numbers and email addresses.

  • Residential addresses or precise private locations.

  • Financial information or identification documents.

  • Private conversations or personal photographs shared without permission.

  • Account credentials or other sensitive information.

When sharing golf scorecards, photographs, or round summaries, please review the information included before publishing or exporting it.

Content shared outside ForeGolf may become accessible to people beyond the Application.

5. Intellectual Property

Users must respect the intellectual property rights of others.

You should only upload or share photographs, images, graphics, and other content that you own or have permission to use.

The following activities are prohibited:

  • Sharing copyrighted content without authorization.

  • Using another person’s photographs or creative work without permission.

  • Impersonating brands, golf clubs, or organizations.

  • Using ForeGolf’s intellectual property without authorization.

You retain ownership of your original content, subject to the licenses described in our Terms of Use.

6. Spam and Misleading Content

ForeGolf is intended for genuine golf-related experiences and interactions.

The following activities are not permitted:

  • Repeatedly posting unwanted advertisements or promotional material.

  • Sharing fraudulent offers, scams, or deceptive links.

  • Creating fake accounts to manipulate interactions.

  • Distributing malicious software or harmful links.

  • Using automated systems to artificially manipulate community activity.

  • Misleading other users for financial gain.

Commercial or promotional activity may be restricted unless explicitly permitted by the Service Provider.

7. Golf Course Etiquette and Safety

ForeGolf encourages responsible behavior both within the Application and on the golf course.

Users should:

  • Respect golf course rules and local regulations.

  • Follow established golf etiquette.

  • Respect other players, course staff, and property.

  • Avoid using the Application in ways that create unsafe situations.

  • Exercise appropriate judgment when relying on GPS distances and course information.

ForeGolf is intended to assist your golfing experience, not replace your responsibility to play safely and follow course regulations.

8. Reporting Violations

If you encounter content or behavior that violates these Guidelines, you may report it through available reporting features within the Application or contact us directly.

When submitting a report, please provide relevant details that may help us investigate the issue.

We will review reports and take appropriate action where necessary.

9. Enforcement

We reserve the right to take action against content or accounts that violate these Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or applicable laws.

Depending on the circumstances, actions may include:

  • Removing or restricting access to content.

  • Issuing warnings.

  • Temporarily restricting certain features.

  • Suspending or terminating accounts.

  • Reporting unlawful activity to appropriate authorities when required or justified by law.

Enforcement decisions will take into account the nature and severity of the violation and applicable legal requirements.

Where required by law, users may be provided with information about moderation decisions and available options to challenge them.

10. Changes to These Guidelines

We may update these Community Guidelines periodically to reflect changes in ForeGolf, community features, legal requirements, or safety standards.

Updated Guidelines will be published with a revised effective date.

Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.

We encourage users to review these Guidelines occasionally.
